Joe joined Flah & Company as our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) in 2021. As COO and CSO, Joe is responsible for Flah & Company’s day-to-day operations, while supporting client facing colleagues with deep industry knowledge and expertise. Joe has designed and implemented billions of dollars of life insurance death benefit. He has unique insight into private placement, premium financing, and existing portfolio audits and augmentations.
Joe was employed at Skadden Arps before entering the life insurance industry. After Skadden Arps Joe invested 14 years at a nationally recognized life insurance planning firm. He moved to South Florida in 2014 after being asked to open his prior firm’s office in Palm Beach.
A graduate of Harvard University with a degree in Government, Joe remains deeply connected with the Varsity Football Team as a member of the board of the Friends of Harvard Football. He is also on the board of directors for the Harvard Club of the Palm Beaches, in addition to being a Founding Lifetime Member of the Harvard Varsity Club.
Joe has grown to love South Florida and joined Flah & Company to assist co-professional advisors and their clientele with their insurance and estate planning needs.
